Is there issues between Bow Wow and Cash Money Records?
The young rap vet took to Twitter on Wednesday (August 15) to express his frustration over his long-delayed YMCMB debut, Underrated; and the lack of support he’s received thus far in its set-up.
“Doing everything on my own. No help from nobody. Going to radio dolo going to da clubs fuk’n wit dj’s dolo. So when i win im thankn myself,” Bow Wow tweeted (@BowWow). ”Sh** so f***ed up maaan.. I swear. Im tryna stay focused but its like at this point ‘F*** that album’ & F*** a release date. Im doin shows….”
According to Bow Wow, he’s been consistently selling out shows without an album out, and the because of the slow pace of its release, it’s become a non-priority for him.
While it’s unclear who his comments are directed at, it likely that because he’s doing everything “on his own”, he hasn’t received the support from his label (Cash Money Records) that he’s expected. Stay tuned…
