These three brothers have been causing a scene in the Baltimore area with their hit single “Backies” with a cameo from Lil’Mo and now their debut video is finally here!!!!  The group Duece Tre Duece has already been featured on MTV Rapfix with Sway.

Duece Tre Duece is the breakout group from Baltimore, MD by way of Queens, NY. Discovered by the late Club Queen K-Swift, the three brothers got the Baltimore radio stations buzzing when they hit the club scene with the infamous track “Hands Up, Thumbs Down.” Now, Duece Tre Duece is back with their hit single “Backies.” Check out the official video for “Backies,” with a cameo from Lil Mo.

Q:How did you all come up with the name Duece Tre Duece, what does it mean?

A:Its a street in Queens,NY “232nd street”.That’s where it all started so we had to stick to something that real

Q:What makes you all so passionate about music?

A:Its in our blood really, Music isn’t apart of our life it is our life really.To be doing something for over half your life makes it something precious. Music is so powerful some people don’t know but it has the power to change lives, change your mood so to be able to do something that big and reach a persons heart through music makes you really go all out so you can tell as much people about your story hoping they can relate.

Q:What are some of your inspirations that motivate you to do what you all do?

A:Music has such a big big part of our lives since a young age.Music changes lives, In my opinion, my and music to me is like my escape from reality. For instance ,when everything in my life feels like its falling, my music is always there and that where my passion for it kicks in.

Q:How do you all stay motivated?

A:We’ve bin doing this for 14 years so that alone, makes us hungry and persistant, so we’ll never give up on a dream that we put our heart and life into.Also, we have a everyday struggle just like everybody else so to be able to help our family means the world to us.

Q:How have your life’s experiences help you build yourselves as rappers?

All of our struggles and grinding definitely built us to who we are we been through soo much tryna come up in the music industry as well as life. we have been turned down at labels, went broke, lost a lot of close friends and it all made us grow and built our character

Q:Tell us something about Duece Tre Duece that we can’t find out from reading a magazine.

A: We be running late to events, not fashionably late, but something always comes up last minute!

Q:Who does Duece Tre Duece aspire to work with in the music industry?

we look forward to possibly getting collabs with artist like kanye west, drake, and more but we are focused on getting our project off of the ground and then we can think about those type of things

Q:I hear you are about to release mixtape, what was the experience like to make a record  that has potential to be heard nationally?

in the studio its all about the vibe when you have a good vibe u can comfortably make great music especially when your around people you love and everybody’s vibing together n having fun things all come together thats exactly how we came up with “backies” we had a lot of fun in the studio freestyling and just fell on the song

Q:You were recently featured on Rap Fix with Sway from MTV, how was the experience to be able to discuss your music and passion with such a prolific hip hop head such as sway and the platform MTV?

it was one of our most memorable times we had since we been doing music….we have been watching sway since kids…he has interviewed a lot of the greats it was crazy to get a chance to talk to him n that just made us wanna go harder…being featured on mtv is one step closer to getting to where we wanna be we are still shocked about it lol

Q:How do you all link up with lil Mo? What was the experience like?

we built our relationship through our manager…we met her years ago but we just recently got close and we just clicked together she is a very down to earth person n very fun to be around….we are looking forward to a collab in the future
