E-40 and Too Short recently announced a release date for their long-talked about joint album, entitled The History Channel. It’s coming in November, but that’s not the only thing the pair’s revealed.
The collaborative project is a two-album release, each showcasing a different vibe and theme … and same release date. The History Channel: Function Music is described as music for the new era, while The History Channel: Mob Music will have an old school feel.
Long time Bay Area-bred producer Rick Rock has worked with the duo on the set. However, further guests and producers are unknown.
What is confirmed is that E-40 and Too Short’s The History Channel project drops November 6.
